“I would like to have SuperPACs disappear to tell you the truth ... and not have this strange situation where we have people out there who support us, who run ads we don't like. And by law we're not allowed to talk to them. I haven't spoken to any of the people involved in my SuperPAC in months.” Mitt Romney during last night's Fox News Channel debate
As both Gingrich and, strangely, Romney pointed out during the final moments of the debate, it's illegal for candidates to run, direct or speak with SuperPACs. So "my SuperPAC" and "in months" ought to raise some serious questions as to whether Mitt Romney violated federal election law.
