If the budget cut becomes law, disadvantaged women across the country won't have as much access to contraception and other services, like cancer screenings and financial assistance. How does this prevent abortion?
Add to the mix the fact that federal money isn't used for abortions in the first place. So all the Republicans (and 10 Dems) have achieved is to take money away from an organization that saves lives and literally prevents abortions. Prevents them. FACT: contraception and family planning prevents abortions.
And they call themselves "pro-life."
