Some miscellaneous things from the batshit tea baggery in Washington.
A few choice Oliver Willis tweets:
--Speaker says future of con pop culture is Stephen Baldwin.
--Woman has flier warning that swine flu vaccine is genocide plot
--Man this crowd almost as big as the one they had when Bush ran up the deficit... Oh wait that didn't happen
Some wingnut loud noises on CNN:
The wingnuts love making loud noises. To paraphrase Olbermann, if they're going to be loud, why not also make an attempt to be right. But there's no motivation for logic. Just loud noises.
Here's an actual headline from a pro-teabagger blog:
Ann Coulter Braves Pouring Rain to Stand With Tea Party Crowd!
Obviously rain is a problem for Coulter. You know, this.
Then there's this sign:
There's the racist Birther "Kenya" thing shoehorned onto the sign at the end. But also, since the passage of the recovery act, the DJIA has risen from 6500 to 9600.
Here's perhaps the most ridiculous teabagger of the day so far:
Yes, the guy has "Glenn Beck Is My Hero" printed on his shirt collar. And it looks like he attempted to add a vague "Y" at the end of "Muslim." As in "Muslimy."
And this sign is particularly classy:
Though I half expect Senate Democrats to respond by removing Ted Kennedy's name from the HELP bill.
