While I'm posting about campaign ads, this Joe Sestak ad is running around the clock on television here.
This is easily one of the most effective political commercials I've ever seen. Since it began running, Sestak has climbed in the polls to within two percentage points of Specter -- and is actually leading Specter in a Muhlenberg College poll.
Content-wise, there's nothing dirty about it, yet it totally paints Specter as a slimy, creepy, shifty weirdo who only cares about being "re-electehhhd." The stereotype of the careerist politician.
