I tweeted the following reactions yesterday and thought I’d repost here in case you missed them:
Out of this weekend’s shootings, we can expect new laws that protect 2nd Amendment rights and loosen gun laws.
I’m sure the parents of the Texas 5-year-old bought the rifle to protect their kids. Good job. Having a gun DOESN’T MAKE YOU SAFER.
By the way, at some point perhaps the gun control movement will actually get tough & spend some real money. Cut the crap & get tough.
If I hear another gun control activist say “we shouldn’t get too radical,” I’m going to yack into their weak tea.
Transforming the entire gun culture will require big $$ and Herculean tenacity. But too many activists prefer to tiptoe and compromise.
In the wake of daily shootings, NRA gets tougher, louder and more defiant.
The NRA and gun zealots ought to be afraid. And gun control activists should be unafraid to stare them down.
