According to a report from the Alaska Dispatch News, Trump regime interior secretary Ryan Zinke personally threatened the economy of Alaska because Senator Lisa Murkowski (R) voted against repealing Obamacare.
Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan said the call from Zinke heralded a "troubling message."
"I'm not going to go into the details, but I fear that the strong economic growth, pro-energy, pro-mining, pro-jobs and personnel from Alaska who are part of those policies are going to stop," Sullivan said.
"I tried to push back on behalf of all Alaskans. … We're facing some difficult times and there's a lot of enthusiasm for the policies that Secretary Zinke and the president have been talking about with regard to our economy. But the message was pretty clear," Sullivan said. The Interior secretary also contacted Murkowski, he said.
Given the staggering ignorance of everyone else in the Trump regime, we can't be certain that Zinke knew that Senator Lisa Murkowski is the gatekeeper for Interior Department funding. She is both the department's top authorizer and appropriator.
She also has the power to do things like this:

Now, back to the matter at hand: the Trump regime is threatening the livelihood of Alaskans because one of their two senators voted against legislation that would threaten the livelihood of Alaskans.
Zinke essentially threatened to fuck over the people of Alaska if Murkowski doesn't consent to fucking them over herself. Because that's what repealing Obamacare without implementing an equal replacement would do. Alaskans already have some of the highest health care bills in America, but Trumpcare would make it even worse.
It's not clear if Zinke even has the power to follow through on his threats, but he threatened the wrong people in any case.
