ABC News reported this morning that Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen is now under investigation by Senate Intelligence Committee.
Not surprisingly, ABC also reported that Cohen has refused to cooperate.
“I declined the invitation to participate as the request was poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered,” Cohen told ABC News in an email Tuesday.
After Cohen rejected the Congressional requests for cooperation, the Senate Select Intelligence Committee voted unanimously on Thursday to grant the chairman, Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina, and ranking Democrat, Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia, blanket authority to issue subpoenas as they deem necessary.
In Trump's inner circle, there may not be anyone more shady and thuggish than Michael Cohen. He makes mafia lawyers look like upstanding citizens.
As you may know, Cohen has been implicated as a middle-man between Trump and Russia. Cohen delivered a plan for lifting sanctions on Russia to Trump after Michael Flynn resigned.

President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, has been subpoenaed by the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee in its probe into possible Russian election meddling and ties to the Trump campaign, the Associated Press reported on Tuesday.
