Rahm Emanuel and the White House are insatiable:
[Emanuel] promised that the president will not stop reaching out to the GOP.
"The President's always going to reach out to people in both parties. I mean we have these upcoming summits, one on fiscal reform, and another one on health care. There's gonna be Republican participation, and that will never change."
Yeah, but Republican participation will involve sabotaging the administration. That's it. That's what they do. That's their agenda.
Emanuel and the president are very likely aware of the Republican agenda in this regard. So in the process of reaching out, I hope they have a strategy in place to disarm the hand grenades and to dodge the scorpion stingers incoming from Boehner, Cantor, McConnell and the rest.
