SEATTLE - Federal authorities have arrested a Selah, Washington man for threatening to kill Senator Patty Murray over her support for the health care bill.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Seattle, 64-year-old Charles Alan Wilson was arrested Tuesday morning at his home in Selah.
Authorities allege that Wilson made a series of threatening phone calls to Murray's office between March 22nd and April 4th.
The criminal complaint says the calls were punctuated by expletives and threatened Murray's life. Wilson allegedly stated in one message that Murray "had a target on her back" and in another he said "I want to (expletive) kill you." The complaint also says Wilson discussed assisting others in an attempt to kill the senator.
A "target." Of course, Sarah Palin used the "target" language recently, no?
By the way, Murray can rest assured knowing that upon his next birthday, he'll receive socialized Medicare benefits. Either that or socialized prison healthcare. Either way. Free healthcare!
