Sarah Palin is some kind of savant when it comes to political correctness. Most of the time, she can barely get beyond noo-kyoo-ler. But wow, she can talk the shit out of making sure we're all politically correct.
Weird, though, how the per capita use of "effing retards" hit an all time high in a discussion about why it's wrong to say those words. And by the way, as Karl Frisch wrote on Twitter, doesn't Family Guy get a "satire exemption" like Limbaugh did? How does that work?
Seriously, I thought she was against political correctness like most wingnuts. You know what? I take back all the savant stuff. She's confusing the hell out of me. While she's able to string words together more capably when discussing "effing retard," she makes even less sense than usual.
(Adding... To clarify my position, I tend to refer to demographic groups with words that those groups approve of. It's common courtesy. However, I don't shy away from using controversial words when making a point about those words -- satirically and seriously.)
