The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities has taken a slightly deeper look at the latest iteration of Paul Ryan’s Path to Poverty fantasy budget and found that it is indeed a heaping pile of crap.

Some 69 percent of the cuts in House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s new budget would come from programs that serve people of limited means, our forthcoming report finds. These disproportionate cuts — which likely account for at least $3.3 trillion of the budget’s $4.8 trillion in non-defense cuts over the next decade — contrast sharply with the budget’s rhetoric about helping the poor and promoting opportunity.

Paul Ryan can go to the inner city and spread his prosperity gospel or appear on Hate Radio and decry a lack of work ethic among those people, but in the end he has nothing to back it up with.
There is no opportunity or empowerment in his budget. There never has been and there never will be. He’s the biggest fake in Washington.
Ryan has no idea what life is really like for the other half. Everything he thinks he knows about society he learned from reading Ayn Rand and Charles Murray.
