Meanwhile, Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has preemptively declared a state of emergency and called out the National Guard ahead of a grand jury decision in the killing of Michael Brown.
It seems extremely irresponsible to me for Jay Nixon to do this. His actions imply that those who aren’t happy with the decision should expect to get violently suppressed. Again.
