Scott Pruitt Doesn’t Believe in Basic, Settled Science

Written by SK Ashby

Scott Pruitt is the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency but he does not believe in basic, settled science that most people learned about in grade school.

Pruitt appeared on CNBC where he said the jury is still out on carbon dioxide.

"I think that measuring with precision human activity on the climate is something very challenging to do and there's tremendous disagreement about the degree of impact, so no, I would not agree that it's a primary contributor to the global warming that we see," he told CNBC's "Squawk Box."

"But we don't know that yet. ... We need to continue the debate and continue the review and the analysis."

There isn't "tremendous disagreement" about global warming and climate change. There's zero disagreement about the nature of carbon dioxide itself. This is literally 4th grade level science that was settled more than a century ago.

Pruitt's position isolates himself and the United States from most of the civilized world and 99 percent of the scientific community. Of course, that makes him a perfect fit for the Trump regime.

I'm looking forward to the future class-action lawsuit filed against the United States government after Miami is literally submerged. Our elected and unelected officials are going to deny basic science until American cities start disappearing.
