Sometimes, in my more idealistic and optimistic moments, I like to believe that people are opposed to injustice regardless of whether or not the injustice directly effects them. This Research 2000 poll tells me that I'm wrong in my optimism. White people are cool with racial profiling and discrimination because, we can only deduce, white people aren't the ones who will be profiled.
