Representative and man-who-wants-to-give-guns-to-fetuses Steve Stockman (R-TX) has invited the now-infamous Obama mask-wearing rodeo clown to perform in his home state of Texas. And according to Stockman, public backlash at the clown who wore an Obama mask while someone else pretended to jam a stick up his ass is straight out of the Saul Alinsky playbook.
“Liberals want to bronco bust dissent. But Texans value speech, even if its speech they don’t agree with,” said Stockman in a statement. “From Molly Ivins to Louie Gohmert and every opinion between Texans value free and open political speech. I’m sure any rodeo in Texas would be proud to have performers.” [...]
“The liberal reaction is straight out of Alinsky,” he continued. “They want to crush dissent by isolating and polarizing anyone who questions Obama, even if it’s a rodeo clown with a harmless gag. The idea to create a state of fear and make people afraid to trivialize Obama. No one tried to personally destroy the rodeo clown who wore a George H.W. Bush mask.”
Remember that time the GOP was no longer going to be the “Stupid Party?”
Good times.
One witness who attended the rodeo with his wife said the event sickened him.
“It was the usual until the very end at bull riding,” he said. “As they were bringing the bulls into the chute and prepping them … they bring out what looks like a dummy. The announcer says ‘Here’s our Obama dummy, or our dummy of Obama.
“They mentioned the president’s name, I don’t know, 100 times. It was sickening,” Beam said. “It was feeling like some kind of Klan rally you’d see on TV.”
The ghoulish Steve Stockman places tremendous value in this speech.
