He's a phenomenal moron.
I mean, he's as dumb as a bag of rocks. I would wager that if the camera panned down, his shoes would be on the wrong feet. Who do you suppose is assigned the task of putting a cork on his fork?
He was just asked about the CBO report on the climate bill showing that by 2020, energy costs would only go up on average $120 per family per year. Grassley countered by claiming that his internal numbers (made up) show $3000 per family per year. Then he said, whether it's $120 or $3000 "is not the point."
Huh? Is that the exact point he was trying to make?
