If you recall, Bill O'Reilly suggested that the tides were a magical occurrence -- the source of which is entirely mysterious. And now this:
This is the creationist fallacy suggesting that "God is in the gaps." In other words, anything they can't explain by science is automatically the result of divine intervention. So because O'Reilly can't explain the origins of the Moon -- because he's unaware of the science -- that means it was created by God, and anyone who challenges him on this is desperate. So the "desperate" position is the one that's science and fact-based? Got it. How about this: I can't explain exactly why Bill O'Reilly is such a dipshit, therefore God must have made his brain really, really tiny.
