You mentioned, ” John Podesta and his son” .. it’s his brother Tony and as far as I’ve read, it’s a complete non story and smear job against him done by RW media.

Extolling us to get along with the ultra left has some problems, because we can’t even tell anymore who’s who..there was a story recently about Russians posing online as leftists stirring up more Bernie vs Hillary crap just to divide us. Bernie himself just said he’s going to “run again as an Independent.” So much for Bernie cooperating. I would like us to come up with a candidate we can agree on, but, if the purity left wants a wacko, we will be screwed again.

Rump lies about incredibly obvious and open things..we can be sure he’s lying about all the behind the scenes stuff. When will everyone start freaking out about all the lies, the lying, the utter fabrication of stories by our “president” and the right wing and their trademarked Infotainment Complex? They would have been demanding Obama to step down long before now. It’s like, suddenly we just accept an alternate reality, and I just can’t take the complacency anymore!! If President Obama had told just one lie, ONE, the right wing would have opened congressional hearings. Rump has told thousands of lies! And Hannity et al. Aside from Joy Reid, when will journalists and tv personalities start demanding the truth?? The sheer scumminess the Right is accepting and promoting gives hypocrisy an entirely new scale.

In re: to why they stopped on the charges for Manafort when they did, they don’t have his cooperation yet. Plus they needed to put pressure on him so going back into time, they have PLENTY to hold over him without revealing all that they are trying to prove to Trump (because they know what they’re looking for at this point). They are trying to hold some info back from Trump’s lawyers. It’s smart, very smart.

And they already have one witness that testifies to Trump’s collusion with Papadopolous so they are now looking for Manafort to support that and add on to it. Then Sessions will be next person they will bring in on perjury charges regarding the 3/31 meeting. Also note that the possible state charges weren’t a part of this but I can guarantee you that Mueller is holding that over his head BUT in abeyance to see if Trump tries to pardon Manafort.

Oh, I needed this good news. I REALLY needed it. And that low level comment is definitely “mens rea”. That little footnote made me cackle out loud with glee.

One question I have about Podesta is what the hell are they talking about in regards to him? I don’t see how he fits into this narrative except for the fact he was a hacking victim. I could actually care less about what happens to Podesta really though.
