Oh, he’s doing extraordinarily well. I’ve compiled a list of the president’s accomplishments that I provided as an answer to a similar question, but this is so important, I will include them here.
Just looking at his accomplishments, I know of quite a few:

He’s had a senior intelligence official forced to resign over a failure to disclose relations with foreign governments.

His campaign and administration has been the focus of two Congressional investigations and a special prosecutor investigation.

He’s successfully had a health care bill written, just to have it pulled from a vote at the last minute because it was clear there weren’t enough votes to pass.

He’s accused his predecessor of wiretapping his phones, but not really wiretapping just an analogy, and not really Obama, just an analogy.

He’s successfully had two executive orders on immigration blocked by courts for their unconstitutionality.

He’s successfully gone from Mexico will pay for a wall be build to “well, we’ll pay for it first, but we’ll get the money from Mexico later! Probably. Well, it’s not really a full wall, maybe just some of a wall, like a virtual wall.”

He’s gone from “no one met with a Russian” to “someone did, but just about adoption” to “who wouldn’t meet with someone about dirt on an opponent” in a matter of days. That’s quick.

He’s gone from “We’re done with the Iran deal” to his state department saying, “Iran is following the deal, but we’re watching them!” Pointing two fingers at their eyes to Iran, a la DeNiro in Meet the Parents.

He’s successfully achieved the highest disapproval rating at this point in a presidency since approval ratings have been tracked.

He’s successfully lobbied the national intelligence officials to include more pictures in the president’s daily briefings because he doesn’t like to read a lot. And To Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street and Harold and the Purple Crayon are now rumored to be popular daily briefings, and the briefings have been moved to bedtime.

Probably not a complete list, but as you can see, our president has accomplished a lot in such a short period of time.

What general part of Memphis (if you don’t mind my asking)? I originally lived in the Whitehaven area and then Parkway Village. I went to Knight Arnold Elementary, Goodlett Elementary and Sheffield High back in the 70’s. I still have family in the area.
