Too many people think global warming is a crisis that's years away. Sometime around 2050, people will be totally screwed, etc. In reality, we're experiencing the impact of the climate crisis right now. Weather is crazier, temperatures are higher, ocean acidity is becoming dangerously high and the Arctic sea ice will be gone within a decade. And it's no wonder, considering this chart from The Economist (hardly a liberal publication) illustrating global temperature increases:
