Leeches and maggots (yes, really) can be useful in treating a number of skin conditions.

Yes. I agree. But I still agree with their alarm at Russia seemingly compromising our democracy and bending it toward their own rather unsavory ends. I don’t require purity. Just some decency in the end and putting the country first.

David Frum, Bill Kristol and David Brooks helped bring about the current iteration of Republicanism. That they now feel the need to disavow their creation and pretend to be sane, dispassionate observers of an inexplicable, spontaneous outbreak of madness just shows how craven they are.

Kevin Drum has a couple of posts up on the Senate bill (an overview and a quick look at the bill’s effect on the individual insurance market). Calling the Senate bill “softer” than the House version is … erm … dishonest at best.
