In other news, the Maryland Attorney General's Office is investigating Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner's real-estate business for "allegedly abusive debt collection practices' and poor property conditions. He's a slum lord.
Meanwhile, Speaker Paul Ryan says Mueller finding evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trumps won't distract them from cutting taxes for the rich. Of course not.
Finally, Politico has a very eye-opening profile of former Speaker John Boehner that I think is worth a read to understand how completely fucked up the Republican party is. There's a whole juicy section on the budgets deal that President Obama found a way to pass. I wanted to get into this today, but there was an avalanche of other news that felt more important. I may still go into it because there's so much there.
On an unrelated note, I don't know if any other casual gamers are reading this, but I binged Life is Strange over the weekend and I can't recommend it enough. It has maybe the most impressive writing I've ever experienced. The game isn't exactly new (it was released in 2015) but what can I say? My backlog is extensive.
I'll recommend Stranger Things Season 2 while I'm at it. It was a great continuation of the series that hit all the right notes, at least for me.
