Breaking; AG Holder tells ABC News he will ask Congress to modify Miranda warnings, to expand public-safety exception
The public safety exception seems acceptable enough, so why continue to pander to conservatives by expanding it? Again, it seems like another example of the Obama administration caving whenever John McCain, Rudy Giuliani and Rush Limbaugh do a scaredy-cat pee pants dance.

"I think we have to give serious consideration to at least modifying that public-safety exception [to the Miranda protections]. And that's one of the things that I think we're going to be reaching out to Congress, to come up with a proposal that is both constitutional, but that is also relevant to our times and the threats that we now face."
