This pledge, outlining the "socialized" services the wingnuts shouldn't be supporting, is really great.
Of course it only makes a good point for those of us with a brain.
The Republicans have long since abandoned any sense of shame or integrity when it comes to their positions. Their entire movement is built upon saying anything they want irrespective of consistency or logic. The czars thing is only the latest in a long line of examples. Fact: Bush had more czars and they're nothing more than advisors -- every president has had advisors. Fact: anti-government tea baggers wanted desperately to partake in government-run public transportation last weekend. And on and on...
But none of that matters. Repeat these contradictions a wingnut and you might as well be speaking to the wall. They simply don't care whether their positions are contradictory. They don't care that many of them will, in fact, enroll in the public insurance option if it ever becomes law. None of it matters.
Because it all continues to be nothing more than loud noises.
And the sooner the media and the congressional Democrats realize this and stop taking them seriously, the better of the rest of us will be.
