For a while now, I've been wondering why the so-called populist Republicans and tea party people haven't been storming Wall Street with pitchforks and misspelled signs.
It's because they like Wall Street. They dig the financial institutions that shoved us all to the brink of disaster -- some of us losing everything in the process.
It turns out slippery-faced sleestak Mitch McConnell and the Republicans are employing hackish Frank Luntz talking points -- again! -- in opposition to the financial regulatory reform legislation plowing its way towards passage. And this time, as Rachel Maddow detailed last night, it's really, really, reeeeeally obvious.
