Unlike John McCain's debate performance, yesterday's fundraising drive for the Obama campaign was a massive success. Not only did we top our original $1000 goal in the first three hours, but we broke $3000 with time to spare before the debate. In less than 24 hours we've bundled $3450 for the campaign.
Clearly, judging by my original $1000 goal, I vastly underestimated the generosity of our community here.
So I'm obviously going to keep the fundraising drive going through election day. Post your suggestions for short-term goals and, ultimately, the goal for election day in the comments and we'll set up more fundraising blitzes as we go along.
Congratulations!
