Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump appeared on Hannity last night, as he is wont to do, and he said we should deport American citizens that have "extreme views."
More specifically, he said we should deport people like Seddique Mateen, the disapproving father of the Orlando nightclub shooter.
“I'd throw him out,” Trump said of Mateen, who is a naturalized U.S. citizen. “If you look at him, I'd throw him out.” [...]
“Whether it's racial profiling or politically correct, we better get smart,” he said. “We are letting tens of thousands of people into our country. We don't know what the hell we're doing.”
You cannot just deport American citizens, even if they're criminals; even if they're Donald fucking Trump.
To say that we're going to deport people with "extreme views" would mean deporting the overwhelming majority of Trump's supporters, his campaign staff, and the man himself.
Trump just called for racially profiling and deporting American citizens. That's "extreme."
