Poetic, but not at all unusual.

Trump almost always ends up accomplishing exactly the opposite of what he claims he’s trying to do. He drained the swamp by appointing more of exactly the same guys he railed against. His attempts to be successfully repeatedly end in bankruptcy. ANd so on.
