Washington Times editor emeritus, Wesley Pruden, on the president:
He is our first president without an instinctive appreciation of the culture, history, tradition, common law and literature whence America sprang.
Conservatives like Pruden love the idea of people helping themselves, having strong family values and pulling themselves up by the bootstraps -- until an African American does it. Barack Obama rose from nothing to become the president. How does that not reflect an instinctive appreciation for the "American culture, traditions, etc?"
Oh wait, I know. Pruden's America is nativist and white-privileged.
