Democratic Senators Hagen and Bingaman are refusing to vote for a public option in the HELP committee.
According to a source with direct knowledge of what is happening on the HELP Committee, the problem is that two Democrats -- Kay Hagan and Jeff Bingaman -- are refusing to sign on.
"We can't bring it up because we'd actually lose the vote," said the source. "They'd vote with the Republicans."
But, polar opposite to these two spineless bastards, Senator Sanders won't vote for the bill without a strong public option -- and his vote will stop any bill from passing out of the committee. Be sure to tell the senator that you have his back.
