In reply to captkurt. I would think most law enforcement officers think more guns in society is a bad idea. However, we're talking about Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke. Remember his strange public service announcement from a couple of years ago? Well, last month he literally blamed Barack Obama for the shootings of two Hattiesburg MS police officers. Clarke has kangaroos in the top paddock, so it's no wonder he's enthusiastic about MOAR GUNZ! –alopecia

My birth state sure has changed in the last 20 years. But I don’t get the county sheriffs buying into this. I thought that most law enforcement officials are typically opposed to increasing the proliferation of firearms in our society? I cannot imagine that most cops want everyone else armed.
