Glenn Beck seems to be slamming the idea of "democratic elections." See if you can figure out this one:
Also, America is both a representative democracy (or just "democracy" for short) and a republic. We're a republic in that we're not a monarchy (or OLIGARHY) and we democratically elect our government. Of course we're not a popular democracy, which would be impossible considering our land mass and population. But representative democracy? YES!
Beck seems to suggest that the phrase "democratically elected" is incorrect and suspicious -- or that democratic elections are somehow evil. I don't know anyone who uses the term "republican elections." Or "republicanly elected." But good going, Beck. You just injected this silliness into the heads of your doofus viewers. Good job.
