But even if you added ground-based deaths, as we saw in the World Trade Center buildings themselves, terrorism deaths would be dwarfed by automobile death rates, cancer death rates and lack of health insurance death rates. So why the freak out over terrorism? If we put the same effort into clamping down on these other forms of death, healthcare would be free, drunk drivers would be in Guantanamo and our air, water and food supplies wouldn't be so loaded with carcinogens.
