The blog might look a little crazy for the time being due to an on-going server/WordPress problem.
Basically, throughout the last several weeks, the site was routinely dropping offline for some reason -- almost daily. In the process of fixing the server, our hosting service disabled one of the php files running within WordPress.
Out of nowhere today, and for no reason whatsoever, the menus at the top of the page stopped working. So after I tried fixing the problem for a couple of hours, I decided to update WordPress in hopes that would reset the menu template. I think the disabled php file disrupted the installation of the update, and hence some flummoxed features -- crucial ones -- in the blog admin area.
I don't know how soon this will all be fixed, but I hope it's very, very soon.
The one thing I truly hate about blogging is wasting entire days on tech issues I had nothing to do with. GRRRRRROOWWWR!
