Rush Limbaugh continues to own this category of posts. This time, he was critical of the First Lady's rib dinner in Vale, Colorado -- accusing her of hypocrisy, considering her healthy diet and Let's Move initiative. I kinda of agree with that, shockingly. Ribs are most definitely bad, bad, bad. Not a good example of healthy restaurant eating.
But Limbaugh prefaced all of it by saying the First Lady "doesn't look like" she follows her own agenda. And this is unforgivable:
The problem is -- and dare I say this -- it doesn't look like Michelle Obama follows her own nutritionary, dietary advice. And then we hear that she's out eating ribs at 1,500 calories a serving with 141 grams of fat per serving, yeah it does -- what do you mean, what do I mean?
That first sentence is pretty clear. The First Lady, says the chronically tubby Limbaugh, is fat.
The other reason why Rush Limbaugh is the worst person in the world today is also because of this line:
Now I'm sure some of you members of the new castrati: "This is typical of what you do Mr. Limbaugh, you take an isolated, once in a lifetime experience, and try to say that she's a hypocrite."
The "new castrati?" He's referring to "new media" here and suggesting we lack virility.
Limbaugh is accusing us of being castrati.
Limbaugh. Accusing us.
He should seriously avoid these kinds of attacks -- anything involving the bathing suit area. You know, because of this.
(Again, I should emphasize that this post category is obviously and brazenly horked from Keith Olbermann.)
